The Christa McAuliffe Planetarium

- Christa McAuliffe was lost to us in the terrible Challenger explosion, but her spirit of creativity, curiosity,
and education lives on in this remarkable place. From dusk to about 10 PM, go for a great look at
constellations on the front lawn. See the rings of Saturn, the Orion Nebula, and the moons of Jupiter. All
for free! The Planetarium also offers shows seven days a week in the spectacular 40' domed theatre. It's
a legacy of learning that Christa would have enjoyed herself.
Capitol Center for the Arts

- Thoroughly modernized, the 1,307 seat theatre is equipped to present many of today's major Broadway
shows. The CCA has presented a wide mix of high-quality events, including Broadway shows, dance
performances, pop and country stars, family shows, international performances, school-time shows and
business conferences and seminars. Today, it is the largest and most successful performing arts center
in New Hampshire . Its richly varied programming attracts diversified audiences. Broadway, ballet and
country & western fans alike travel from all over New England to attend performances.
Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum

- Just twenty miles from downtown Concord is a remarkable gem of American history. The Indian Museum
is an incredible, comprehensive collection of Native American art and artifacts from every imaginable
North American tribe, including the Iroquois, Apache, Hopi, Plains, and Inuit peoples.
One of the only New England designated sites for the National Pow-Wow circuit, the Kearsarge Indian Museum
is the most detailed and complete collection of Native American history outside of Washington D.C, and well
worth the trip to Warner.
